Six semantic-classification activities: grouping pictures by category, by use, and by attribute.

Categorizando brings together six semantic-classification activities in Portuguese, for children learning to read and for speech-therapy and teaching use. “The Odd One Out” asks for the picture that doesn't belong; “Where Does It Go?” puts each picture in the right basket; “Name the Category” asks for the group's name; “This or That?” and “Which Ones?” take the same pictures and split them by a different criterion — what flies and what doesn't, what we use in the bathroom; and “Explore Categories” is a free mode with no scoring. The two attribute games exist on purpose: that is where the child discovers that the grouping criterion is chosen, not given — the same item can belong to different categories. Works fully offline, with no ads, no account, and no data collection.
