Cartas Fonéticas is a phonological-awareness game for children learning to read: a picture of an object appears and the child taps the card showing the letter of the sound the word begins with — abacaxi leads to A. There are 20 questions across three difficulty levels, which change how many cards are on the table: Easy with three, Medium with four, and Hard with five. Mistakes carry no punishment at all — the child simply tries again until they get it right. It is the web port of the Android app originally built in Godot, now installable on a phone, fully offline, with no ads, no purchases, and no data collection.
